A retriever kennel in North Dakota keeps the habit this sheet was built on: a kennel that prints its own litter notices, dates them, and lets the record speak.
The same desk work survives in a different climate: a kennel notebook kept further south shows the Greek end of the same small-kennel craft.
The sheet reads the colour charts of another breed the way it reads its own: a coat colour is a record, not a fashion, whichever dog wears it.
Every working column needs its measuring stick; the standard the work is judged by is kept here for the breeds that still earn their keep.
